Meet Our Functional Medicine Practitioner

My path into wellness began more than 20 years ago in nursing — and just as importantly, with the realization that traditional medicine was not where I could best serve people long term. While conventional care plays an important role in acute situations, I felt deeply called to focus on preventive health, functional wellness, and health optimization — helping the body maintain balance before illness and chronic conditions develop. My goal has always been to support individuals in strengthening their health foundations rather than waiting until medical intervention becomes necessary.

At the core of my work is education-based health coaching. I believe that when people understand how their bodies function — metabolically, hormonally, and systemically — they are empowered to make informed, confident decisions about their health.

I do not pursue immortality or promise a fountain of youth. Instead, I believe everyone deserves to live optimally at every stage of life, whether that means thriving into their 70s or remaining active and engaged well into their 90s or beyond. My personal goal is simple: to remain healthy, mobile, and present for as long as God allows me to be here.

I am also a wife and mother, and keeping my family healthy has always been one of my highest priorities. Over the past two decades, our family has transitioned to a whole-foods, holistic lifestyle, emphasizing nutrition, movement, detoxification, and foundational wellness practices. This lived experience strongly informs how I support clients today.

I believe that understanding and applying foundational health principles — including nutrition, metabolic health, movement, nervous system regulation, and detox pathways — creates the pathway to sustainable wellness and long-term success.

Through years of advanced education, research, and professional training, I am equipped to educate and empower clients through personalized wellness coaching and structured health optimization programs. My certifications include:

  • Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner (CFMP)

  • Peptide Therapy Certification (CPT)

  • Certified Classical Homeopath (CCH)

  • Certified in Bio Resonance Therapy (CBRT)

  • Certified in Lymph Enhancement Technology (CLET)

In recent years, I have partnered with a trusted network of licensed medical providers, allowing me to expand my services to include doctor-ordered lab testing, medically supported weight loss, and hormone optimization for women and men. This collaborative model allows us to move more efficiently, track progress through objective lab data, and achieve results that are both measurable and sustainable.

My journey into medically supervised weight loss was unexpected. Initially, I sought to demonstrate to friends and family the potential risks — including muscle loss, gastrointestinal side effects, and rebound weight gain.

What I discovered challenged those assumptions.

While these outcomes can occur, they are not inevitable. With the right education, proper nutrition, resistance training, and targeted micronutrient support, medical weight loss can safely improve body composition, reducing fat mass while preserving or even building lean muscle.

When approached correctly, clients often experience improvements in metabolic health, inflammation, blood pressure, insulin resistance, hormone regulation, and digestive function.

GLP-based therapies are one category of peptides — but they represent only a small portion of what is available. Peptide therapy plays an important role in cellular signaling, influencing hormone balance, gut health, insulin sensitivity, stress response, and tissue repair. Peptides are naturally present in the body; however, after the age of 30, peptide signaling begins to decline. Combined with modern inflammatory lifestyles and environmental toxin exposure, this decline contributes to accelerated cellular aging and metabolic dysfunction.

When used appropriately and supported by education and lab-informed insight, peptides can help address root causes and support the body’s innate ability to restore balance and heal.

My role is not to dictate care — it is to educate, guide, and support. Together, we create a personalized, data-informed plan aligned with your goals, values, and long-term health.

If you are ready to take a proactive, informed approach to your health through medical weight loss, hormone optimization, functional wellness coaching, or health optimization, I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15-minute consultation.
